Outdoor Council of Canada

We are a licensed independent instructor for the Outdoor Council of Canada. We provide training opportunities to members of our community to obtain their Field Leader certification.

 The Outdoor Council of Canada (OCC) serves as the umbrella organization for the Canadian outdoor sector. The OCC addresses structural barriers hindering the ability of outdoor programs to reach their full impact.

Field leader courses are designed to benefit any person leading others outdoors. Our courses value schools, youth organizations, and hiking clubs. They are delivered in more than 13 different university and college programs. 

For Graduates:

• Demonstrated competency in leading trips in a diversity of activities. 
• Helps you get the work opportunities you want. 
• Ensure your program is managed according to industry-accepted practices. 
• Helps you map, develop, and accelerate your career.

For Organizations:

• Streamlines and strengthens your risk management processes.

We offer public training courses as posted on the OCC website and we can offer a private course for your group.
